NEW TO BETHESDA?

WHAT'S NEW AT BETHESDA?
We recently updated our Main Sanctuary with brand new, efficient lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, new carpet and handicapped-accessible seating. Within the past few years we’ve also made the choir loft portable and changed the look of the platform. We are also updating our nurseries with colorful wall murals.
WHO IS BETHESDA'S PASTOR?
Bethesda Christian Church is pastored by Rev. Analee Dunn. She is the 3rd Pastor in Bethesda's history, which began in 1934. Our History of Bethesda page explains our history in detail. Hear Pastor Dunn's latest sermons here or read her biography here.
WHAT IS BETHESDA'S VISION?
Bethesda's mission is embodied in three words: Knowledge • Relationship • Destiny.
* Developing knowledge of the Word of God
* Establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church
* Fulfilling our destiny to reach the world
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT A TYPICAL BETHESDA SERVICE?
Bethesda is a worshipping church devoted to following the biblical pattern found in the New Testament. Our hour and a half services (approx) include prayer, congregational singing, personal praise, special songs or drama, offering and a relevant message from the Pastor or other minister. Our song services have a contemporary feel, blending newly released choruses with traditional hymns and songs, which find us clapping along or raising our hands in praise. The message is biblically-based with an emphasis on applying the Word of God to our everyday lives.
Communion is served on the first Sunday each month. The second Sunday of each month includes a special time of prayer at the altars for healing and anointing with oil by the Church Elders. The 5th Sunday is typically when we perform the sacraments of baptism and dedication of children. Learn more about our church beliefs here.
