King's Island Children's Church:
Each week is an exciting adventure at King's Island where children, PreK-Grade 5, learn about the love of God, Bible truths and Bible characters. King's Island runs from September through May with Excursion Hour running all year long.

American Sign Language I
Join us for an introduction to American Sign Language and the deaf community and culture. An emphasis will be placed on learning to sign the Scriptures.

Apply the principles you learn in this class to your daily life while you enjoy fellowship with instructors and students.

Caring Christian Class
Establish meaningful connections with each other in this relationship based group as you study God’s Word.

Focus on the Word
Is the Bible relevant today? Does the Bible have anything to say about today’s issues? Through teaching and class discussion we will analyze the Bible to determine God’s opinion on current issues in our world. Join us for a revealing study and insightful discussion of God’s Word.

Friendship Bible Class
This class provides the opportunity to study in a warm supportive environment with fellowships throughout the year.
Location: Library
Growing in God (Engaged and Newly Married couples)
Through a study on 1 & 2 Corinthians, application from God’s Word is made that is relevant to issues faced within new and growing families. Discussion and activities encourage Christian friendships.
Location: Room 114, Sanctuary Bldg
Growing Together (Engaged Couples)
This 12-week preparation class is designed for couples contemplating marriage at Bethesda. These warm and instructive gatherings prepare each couple for the wedding as well as married life. Completion of the course is a prerequisite for marriage at Bethesda. A $35 material fee is charged.
Room assignment varies.
Hebraic Roots of Christianity
Enrich your faith by learning about the heritage of Christianity’s Hebraic roots - the Jewish faith. Topics include how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament, Jewish culture, festivals and teachings. Offered September-May.

In Awe of Him
The awesomeness of God is seen in many ways: in His purposes, in the arts, in missions, in His love towards us, and in our care for one another-all points of application covered in this class.

Money Matters
Did you know there are over 2,350 Bible verses about money and nearly half of Jesus’ parables are about possessions? Lean more about how to handle your finances biblically by attending this seven-week class and small group discussion scheduled throughout the year. Registration is required. To register contact Tom or Carole Delano at (248) 652-4827 or email tcdelano@netzero.net *Material Fee; $17 per household, Scholarships available. This class is also offered at various times through the year on Wednesday evenings.

Pressing Toward the Mark
Through lessons from the Gospel of Mark, active Christians are challenged to take a closer look at their walk with Christ. Once we compare our lives to God’s Word we will desire to stretch even further toward the mark Christ set for us.

Strong in God’s Word
Study the Gospels in chronological order and understand the inspired messages they contain as well as the history and culture in which they were written.
Location: Room 110, Sanctuary Building
WEDNESDAY EVENING CLASSES: 7-8:30 p.m.
At various times throughout the year special classes and “Break Out” classes are offered on Wednesday evenings. Typically four to six Break Outs are offered usually for four to six weeks. During these times all come together at 7pm for a time of songs and worship, then break out to different classes.
CHILDREN
Nurseries are available during service times Sundays and Wednesdays for newborns through 3 years of age.Location: 1st Floor, Learning Center

- Excursion Hour (9-9:45 a.m.): Small group time involving Bible memorization, chapel, activites, and a prelude to the King's Island weekly focus.
- Large Group (9:45-noon): Snacks and weekly scripture games at "The Lagoon" and chapel with worship songs, drama, puppets, lessons and more.

Single's Ministry (for adults 30 & over)
