Bereavement Ministry

If you have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend you have probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
That's why we have Bereavement Ministry - a special group for people mourning the loss of someone close. Groups meet at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at 16-week intervals throughout the year. This group is sponsored by people who understand what you're experiencing and want to offer comfort and encouragement.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

We use GriefShare videos and workbooks that feature top experts on grief and recovery. These videos include real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. After viewing the video, you'll participate in a small group discussion where you can interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share your own. The videos we watch are "self-contained," so you do not have to attend them in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin.

VIDEO TOPICS INCLUDE

  • When Your Dreams Fall Apart
  • Your Greatest Resource
  • The Seasons of Grief
  • Stuck In Grief Or Moving On
  • The Emotions of Grief (Part I)
  • Growing Through Grief
  • The Emotions of Grief (Part II)
