Young Adult Ministries
OUR GOAL is to take young adults to the next level in their
relationship with Jesus Christ. CrossCurrent is comprised of young
adults ages 18-20 something. CrossCurrent makes the Bible relevant in
daily living and gives opportunities to live it out through
small groups, activities, and outreach events.

Friday, February 12, 7 p.m.: Comedy for a Cause with comedians Kevin Johnson & Jeff Allen at Woodside Bible Church. Meet at Bethesda at 5:45 p.m. to carpool
Sunday, February 14: Campus Martius in the afternoon (Detroit’s Winter Blast) & Pasta Lunch at the Talarico’s after church. Leave for the Downtown Winter Blast from the Talarico’s at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, February 16, 7 p.m.: Men’s Ministries Meeting on “Maintaining Integrity”

March 5 & 6: College Campus Tour. Visit the CC students away at various campus’s throughout MI
CROSSCURRENT ETHICS SMALL GROUP
Mondays, 7-8:30p.m. in the BCC Family Center Auditorium
Discuss various topics related to ethics at this 10-week group. Instructors include Rev. Pat Visger, Rev. Barry Allen, and Rev. Tim Helland. The instruction time is in a large group format, followed by co-ed small groups for discussion. Small group leaders are Jesse Allen, Kristen Guinn, Frank Talarico, and Adam Vallus. Arrive early and chat for a few moments! We hope to see all of you out to the small group on Monday Nights!
ACTIVITIES
We schedule activities like summer retreats, road rallies, barbecues and game nights throughout the year. Activities present fun opportunities to meet new friends and deepen existing relationships. Check out our upcoming events on the events calendar page (sort by young adults).
OUTREACH
CrossCurrent is involved in many outreach projects including a monthly outreach to the homeless in Detroit.
SERVICES

CATALYST LEADERSHIP TEAM
Catalyst is designed to engage students in biblical/leadership studies coupled with practical ministry experience while inspiring in them a personal pursuit of God and His direction for their lives. Catalyst is comprised of 5-10 members who have commited themselves to serving the needs of CrossCurrent and Bethesda Christian Church.
DIRECTOR:
Frank Talarico has a passionate love for God and a desire to see His purpose unleashed in the lives of people. For the Past 7 years, Frank has served as the Director of CrossCurrent Young Adult Ministries. Since starting from scratch in 2001, CrossCurrent now offers services, small groups, activities, outreaches and leadership training opportunities specifically geared for young adults. Frank and his wonderful wife, Leslie have 3 children, Giovanni, Francesca and Vincenza. Although Frank loves pasta, he detests raw tomatoes.
