Bethesda Christian Church

We Believe

Our mission at Bethesda Christian Church is embodied in three words: Knowledge Relationship  Destiny

  • Developing the Knowledge of God's Word
  • Establishing a Relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church
  • and Fulfilling our Destiny to reach the world
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

We believe Jesus was and is the Son of God who died for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead and ascended into the presence of God.

We believe in the Scriptural imperatives of repentance, faith in God, burial with Christ in baptism and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is alive and active in our world through the power of the Holy Spirit; that He can and does heal sick bodies, minds and emotions. The gifts He has given the church are held in high esteem.

We believe Jesus will physically and visibly return to earth and bring about the promised resurrection of the saints.

We believe and practice the sacraments of Baptism, The Lord's Supper, Footwashing, Anointing With Oil, Matrimony, Dedication Of Children and Confirmation.

  • Water Baptism is typically administered on the fifth Sunday of the month during the morning service. Instruction is mandatory.
